Tanksgiving

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and I am sure thankful for all you millions of readers. Okay, I'm even thankful for the handful of readers I have. It is because of you that I am blogging instead of mindlessly laying in bed watching The L-Word, my new favorite show.

My Thanksgiving was spent with 50-60 Persians at my in-laws house (my title of this post is supposed to denote this since most native Farsi speakers substitute the /t/ for the "th"). It was fabulous. Usually I don't have too many people to talk to during these events because everyone is speaking in a foreign language, but this time many of my in-laws friends brought their children who were kind enough to speak in English to me. Some of these children are pretty close to my age and I've become friends with a few, so it was great fun to have some girl talk amongst beautiful and smart ladies like these:
Are they hot or what? Also, my friend Cassidy came up from Chicago and it was so nice to have an old friend there for the celebration.

But once again, the holiday was also bitter sweet, for I missed my own family in Maryland and my friend-family in San Francisco. Isn't there a way to be three places at one time?? I also missed my 20 year high school reunion, but at least I have Facebook to see the photos.

Okay, back to lesbian drama for me.
